Position: Sales Account Representative
Location: Moscow, Russia
Category: Sales, Full-time
This position is created to focus on developing new business in Ukraine,
Kazakhstan and Russia. Directly reporting to the Sales Manager for Russia and
CIS and working closely with the Conference and Standard Research departments
and other senior executives of the CIS team, this role supports IDC’s rapidly
growing business in Russia and CIS. The position is located in Moscow.
Join the branch, and work with an international team dedicated to IDC Sales
Team in Russia and CIS.
Responsibilities:
- Generate business demand and qualify leads for IDC Sales in the UKR, KZ and
RU markets;
- Proposal preparation for prospective clients in the CIS region;
- Client acquisition and retention: contact and follow-up;
- Developing new prospects and client profiling: identifying major decision
makers with leads;
- Local business development: identifying and securing new business at
country level;
- Customer care and management: maintenance of close contact with
IDC's existing clients in terms of pre and post sales;
- Maintain effective working relations with local and international IDC
analysts and IDC global sales operations;
- Create and manage business and market development and sales activity
schedules;
- Financial monitoring and management of sales performance, forecasts and
submission of cyclical reporting to the Sales Manager.
We require:
- Demonstrable experience in concept selling and consultative sales;
- Minimum of 2 years experience in sales/marketing, IT or conference sales
environments;
- Proven excellence at establishing and managing consultative relationships
with customers and prospects;
- A solid contact network in the CIS IT sector;
- Good command of CIS IT trends, structure and business processes;
- Good English, native Russian. Knowledge of Ukrainian will be an
advantage;
- Convincing presentation skills at executive level;
- Complete proficiency with MS Office and CRM databases;
- Excellent reporting and performance management skills;
- Ability to work independently within a matrix environment;
- Ability to operate comfortably in ambiguous and fast changing business
arenas;
- University degree
